The Chicago Task Force on LGBT Substance Use and Abuse is a group of concerned community members, community based organizations, public health advocates, business owners, clergy, and governmental and law enforcement representatives dedicated to addressing substance use and abuse among lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people in Chicago.

-Supporting educational and social marketing initiatives addressing the effects of using substances (including the link to HIV and STDs),

-Promoting compassionate and targeted services for those who use, abuse, or are addicted to substances (and those affected by others’ use), and

-Advocating for services and policies for the unique needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.
