Social Smarts is 10-week therapeutic skills group specifically designed for those who struggle with social anxiety. Participants in this group will learn how to interrupt the cycle of social anxiety and acquire skills to cope with and prevent it from arising. They will practice these skills through the art of improvisation in a safe and supportive group therapy setting.

One of the most effective forms of treatment for anxiety involves direct exposure to the very things that make us fearful. Our Social Smarts group does just that by helping clients face their trigger situations. Leaders will individually tailor experiential exercises to make them relevant to each group members’ desired areas of growth. By expanding their social comfort zones in the here-and-now in a uniquely validating environment, members will walk away with a framework for understanding and addressing the ways anxiety impacts their thoughts, bodies, and behaviors.
