We want everyone to have a birth certificate that matches the gender they live. Here are our previous accomplishments.Non-discrimination LawIGA has worked with other equality organizations to bring the law prohibiting discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation in employment, public accommodations, and housing. This means trans people cannot be fired, denied employment, or denied housing simply because of their gender identity or expression and can use the bathroom that matches their driver’s license. TYRA (Trans Youth Resources and Advocacy) meets every week at the Broadway Youth Center for anyone transgender or questioning between 14 and 24.
