This group is an ongoing interpersonal process group open to male-identified members of the LGBTQI community. Participants in this group are men who have identified an interpersonal goal that they would like to address such as forming and maintaining friendships, improving men’s capacity for closeness with others, and fostering healthy relationships. Group members can expect sessions to focus on giving and receiving genuine and constructive feedback to one another about the ways in which members are perceived and ways in which members’ ways of communicating promote or sometimes hinder more meaningful relationships. This group is facilitated by one male and one female identified therapist whose job it is to help group members share more openly, provide structure, and ensure that members feel welcome and safe.
